General Grounds Work

Do you know someone you can contact that would be able to help us out with a donation of time and/or materials? Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated. Check out the following opportunities:

• Beach – needs 2 truck loads of sand, general pickup of waterfront area too.
• Dam – needs to be burned/mowed. Trees and stumps need to be removed.
  • Thank you - All-Conference Clean-up Crew.
• Trails – need to be cleared. General stick pick up required. Trees need to be trimmed and old/fallen trees need to be cut up and moved away.
  • Thank you - Central District Boy Scouts cleared trail to dam and put wood chips down.
  • Thank you - All-Conference Clean-up Crew.
• Gravel on the roads – particularly in the bottom part of the camp. The road surfaces will need to be prepared to receive the gravel.
• Vesper Point needs to be washed.

• Trees along roads need to be trimmed
• Many buildings need to be repainted
• Weeding of various areas of camp / planting of remaining flower beds
  • Thank you - Women's retreat volunteers
• Cutting down of dead trees.
  • Thank you - Karen Handke and members of her congregations at Oto / Rodney / Smithland. 12 trees were cut down and chopped into fire wood.
• Shelving installed in Hickory.

• Fix various doors around camp that don't close properly
